Starring, Jayne, B., 51, of Sowams Road, died at home on May 10, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Mark D. Starring.

Born in Providence, a daughter of Mary Jane (Peck) McFetters of Barrington and the late George W. McFetters Sr., she was a lifelong resident of Barrington.

Mrs. Starring was a registered nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for 20 years. She was a graduate of Rhode Island College Class of 1982.

Jayne was a beautiful person who put others needs before her own. She enjoyed reading, gardening, baking and spending time with her loving family.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter; Allison J. Starring of Barrington, three sisters; Georgia D. Tefft of Live Oak, FL, Karen A. Mazzotta of Walpole, MA and Amy C. McGreevy of Narragansett, a brother; George W. ‘Butch’ McFetters Jr. of Columbia, MO and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Matthew D. Starring.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2012 in the Barrington Presbyterian Church, County Road, Barrington at 11 am. Burial will be held in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road.
