Andreozzi, Jean, M., 86, of Fenner Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on Wednesday December 23, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frank Andreozzi Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Sigurd J. and Mary Jane (O’Shea) Peterson, she lived in Riverside for 75 years.

Mrs. Andreozzi was an antique dealer for many years, specializing in antique doll appraisals. She previously was a special education aid for the East Providence School Department.

Jean was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She was a former secetary for the National 1776 Doll Club and former member of the Square Dancing Club, the Dancing Squares. She enjoyed hunting for antiques.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn Walsh of Riverside, Janine Andreozzi-Reynolds and her husband Kenn of Riverside, Frank Andreozzi III and his wife Ann of Barrington, Krista Francis and her husband Alfred of Rehoboth, MA and Mary Jane Andreozzi of Seekonk, MA; a brother, Frederick Peterson of Riverside; two sisters-in-law, Amelia Zuius and Sue Andreozzi, both of Riverside, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Sigurd, Edward and Cornelius Peterson.

Jean was a sweet, caring woman, devoted to her family who loved her deeply in return.

Her funeral will be held on Monday December 28, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
