Pereire, Jean, 86, formerly of Spring Street, Riverside and Bay Spring Village, Barrington, died peacefully on January 7, 2011 at the Evergreen Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Manuel Pereire.

Born in Rollinsford, NH, a daughter of the late John and Ernestine (Castrataro) Padula, she lived in Riverside for 57 years.

She is survived by four brothers; Peter A. Padula of Alexandria, VA, Salvatore V. Padula of Santa Ana, CA, Joseph Padula and John Padula Jr., both of Taunton, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Greg Pereire and sister of the late Anthony, Michael, Theresa, Susan and Mary Carmina Padula.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday January 13, 2011 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday morning 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
