Hall, Joanne, 84, formerly of Barrington, died peacefully on October 30, 2015 at the Orchard View Manor, East Providence. She was the wife of the late Gordon Hall.

Born in Hoboken, NJ, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Burgess) Grussing, she also lived in Wakefield for 27 years and previously resided in Vermont.

Mrs. Hall, a polio survivor, was a legal secretary for many years before retiring in 1992.

Joanne enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing the piano and watching the Boston Red Sox and her two grandsons play baseball.

She is survived by a daughter, Melanie H. Panarello and her husband Michael of Barrington; a sister, Lynn Williams of Arlington, VT and two grandchildren, Nicholas and William Panarello. She was the sister of the late Judge Robert Grussing III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
