Griffin, Joanne T., 52, formerly of Circuit Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on September 23, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.
Joanne was a daughter of the late Joan (Marmann) Griffin and Robert Griffin, she lived in Riverside for many years.
Ms. Griffin was a participant for the Arc of Blackstone Valley for many years.
Joanne enjoyed making people smile.
She is survived by a brother, Seth R. Griffin of North Providence; two cousins, Thomas S. Griffin of Chapin, SC and David Horton of Ft. Myers, FL and her devoted caregiver, Eddy Moise of North Providence.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

I remember Joanne while growing up around the corner from her. She would make me laugh and I loved her smile. Joanne may you rest in the heart of Jesus and Mary. God bless her family.
I met Joanne while working for the East Providence Rec Dept. We had lots of fun at the old Riverside Jr. building. Joanne’s parents and Seth were amazing with Joanne.

I had the pleasure of meeting Joanne back in the late 70s and early 80s when I worked for The East Providence Recreation Dept. She was so warm and loving and could always make me smile. May she rest in peace and eternal happiness.
