Harrington, John, G., ‘Jack’, 80, of Brookfield Road, died peacefully at home on February 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Carolyn M. (Cyr) Harrington.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late William and Mary (Gregory) Harrington, he was a lifelong resident of East Providence.

Mr. Harrington was the Manager of the rental department at J.J. Gregory & Son for over 30 years before retiring in 1988.

Jack enjoyed traveling, skiing, scuba diving in the ocean and spending time with his loving family.

Mr. Harrington was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his four sons, Christopher J. Harrington of Silver Spring, MD, Dr. David J. Harrington, MD, of Cumberland, Steven J. Harrington of Riverside and Michael J. Harrington of San Francisco, CA, and three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late William and Thomas Harrington.

His funeral service will be private. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Jack’s memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Pawtucket, 02904 would be deeply appreciated.
