John R. Orsi

Orsi, John, R., 59, of Dover Avenue, died peacefully on Monday December 2, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Karen Ann (Riendeau) Orsi.
Born in Providence, a son of the late John F. and Clare (Melucci) Orsi, he lived in East Providence most of his life.
Mr. Orsi worked for Crate & Barrel for over 30 years.
Music was John’s passion. He was a brilliant musician and composer and a founding member of the music collaborative, Knitting By Twilight.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his cherished sisters; Ann Louise Buckley of Riverside and Susan Higgins of Riverside and a special beloved nephew; John Buckley of Riverside.
His funeral will be held on Thursday December 5, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am.

How sad.
I remember John was a great guy and loved music. He used to work at ”Record World” at the Lincoln Mall, in Lincoln, RI.
