Holloway, Joseph, G., 96, of Cole Spring Road, died peacefully on August 28, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Virginia M. (Tisdale) Holloway.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Harry A. and Jenny T. (Palowsky) Holloway, he lived in Barrington for 52 years.

Mr. Holloway was a sales service manager for the Dixon Corp. for 23 years before retiring in 1996.

Joseph was a communicant of St. Luke Church and the Carmelite Monastery, Barrington. He was a member of the first Barrington Rod & Reel Club and enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Holloway was a decorated United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by a son, John G. Holloway of Exeter; a grandson, Jeremy Holloway and Heidi Ecklund of Exeter and a great granddaughter, Karina Holloway. He was the brother of the late Rita Rehak.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday September 3, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Carmelite Monastery Chapel, Watson Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road.
