Joseph L. Papa, 75, of Everett Avenue, Bristol, died unexpectedly on May 22, 2024 at home. He was the husband of the late Christine E. (Benn) Papa.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Alfonzo and Doris (Mello) Papa, he lived in Bristol for 40 years previously residing in Warren.
Mr. Papa was a Stock Clerk for the Stop & Shop Supermarket and the former Almac’s Grocery Store for many years.
He is survived by a brother, Kenneth Charette. He was the brother of the late Carl and Ronnie Charette.
His Funeral Services will be private. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
I knew Joe from the race book for at lease 40 years or better! He was such a good guy. I want to give my condolences to family and friends and say he’ll be sadly missed.RIP Joe🙏🙏🙏
I went to Barrington High School with Joe as well as working at Almacs in Riverside/Barrington . We had some good times. Wonderful, fun loving person. May he rest in peace.
