  10. Joe was the sweetest most generous soul a person could be. His laugh, his infectious energy is something that can never be replaced. Joe welcomed me in his home for many years and treated me as one of his own. HIs house was always a home for many of us who needed that “fatherly role.” I will never forget the nights outside by the fire listening to music, football Sundays with Tinas homemade cooking, vacations, holidays and overall, just the little moments that I hold so close to my heart now. I find comfort in visualizing the reunion he had with his late son Ross- every time I close my eyes, I imagine them jamming away with a drink in their hands and it brings my mourning heart peace.

TIna, my heart hurts for you, losing someone is hard but losing a piece of your heart is the absolute hardest. May you take one day at a time, one step forward- and let the love little joey had for you be at the forefront of your grief to keep you going.

Chelsea, the glue of your family- Life is so unfair but it seems extremely unfair to you. I hate to see that you will have to navigate grief once again- yet this time for your father who loved you more than life. You are his baby girl, his first baby that held such a close bond and relationship some will never understand but only lucky enough to witness. May Joes parenting and unconditional love for you shine through as you move forward in life raising your own while mourning the loss of your dad. All my love to the Cain family, i pray you find the signs he sends your way; those signs are proof that your bond is infinite because it will stretch to heaven and back.

  11. My condolences go out to the entire Cain family.
