De Angelis, Joseph Peter, 94, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Barrington, RI, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Ann Chellel De Angelis.

Joseph was the son of the late Giuseppe De Angelis and Angelina Lomabrdi De Angelis. Joseph proudly served in the US Navy on World War II. After leaving the service, he settled in the Washington, DC area, where he served as a Construction Project Manager for Knollman Co, and later for James G Davis Construction.

Joseph is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Andrew Secula, two grandsons, Andy & Erik Secula, and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Suriani, and three of his eight brothers. Joseph also leaves behind loving nieces and nephews, the wonderful caregivers of his extended family at the JK House of Grace, ‘The dear people of Seasons Hospice’, and many special friends.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday March 28, 2017 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way Barrington.
