Chakouian, Joy A., 55, of Leroy Drive, Riverside, died peacefully at home on April 23, 2012. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John G. Chakouian and Angelina (Moniz) Mayforth, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Joy was a jewelry worker for the Arc of Blackstone Valley. She enjoyed spending time in and around the ocean, dancing, and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley albums.

She is survived by a brother; Jeffrey Chakouian of Seekonk, MA, a sister; Janice Tatarian of Detroit, MI and several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late John Chakouian and Brenda Cuccinotta.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday April 26, 2012 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Thursday morning 9-11 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
