Foster, Joyce, Possner, 85, formerly of Beverly Road, Riverside, daughter of the late Robert Henry Possner and Wilhelmina (Christ) Possner De Blois, beloved wife of Edward Clinton Foster Jr., died on April 6, 2013. She was born on August 10, 1927 in Fall River, MA. A native of Warren and Barrington, she was a former resident of East Providence and was a resident of Vero Beach, FL and Lincolnville Center, ME.

A graduate of Barrington High School, she received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. Mrs. Foster was a Medical Technologist at Rhode Island Hospital before being employed by the Warren School Department as a sixth grade teacher.

Mrs. Foster was a charter member of St. James Lutheran Church in Barrington; a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in Rockport, ME and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, FL.

Besides her husband of 59 years, she is survived by two daughters; Kristen Joy Candon of Riverside, Kimberly Delight O’Donnell of Barrington and their husbands William J. Candon and William G. O’Donnell and four grandchildren; Spc. Bennett William O’Donnell and Carlin Foster O’Donnell and Scott William Candon and Emily Lynn Candon.

Her funeral will be held on Friday April 12, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a funeral service in St. James Lutheran Church, 49 Middle Highway, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
