Seamans, Judith J., (Garvin), 82, of Redfern Grove, Pawtucket Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on Friday August 17, 2018. She was the wife of the late Willard L. Seamans.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Frederick and Sybil (Chase) Garvin, she lived Riverside for many years.

Mrs. Seamans was a receptionist for the East Side Clinical Lab for 27 years before retiring in 2002.

Judith enjoyed crocheting, playing golf and cards with her friends and spending time with her loving children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Mark A. Seamans and his wife Cynthia of Lithia, FL and Willard I. Seamans and his wife Veronica of Riverside; a daughter, Beth A. Oldham of Riverside; five grandchildren, Joseph, Bret, Emma, Benjamin and Jessica and two great grandchildren, Kayden and Gracen. She was the sister of the late Cynthia Newman and mother-in-law of the late Peter Oldham.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 26, 2018 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 3-6 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday August 27, 2018 in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 399 Hope Street, Bristol at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Bristol.

Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Judith’s memory to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI, 02915 would be deeply appreciated.
