Gagliardi, Julia, M., (Sutton), 85, of Woodcrest Drive, Riverside died peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center on December 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Gagliardi.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bradford and Julia (Kennedy) Sutton, she lived in Riverside for 50 years.

Mrs. Gagliardi was a cashier and customer service person for the Ames Department Store for over 25 years before retiring in 1995.

Julia was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 64 years, she is survived by two sons; Joseph Gagliardi Jr. and his wife Sandra of Tiverton and Robert Gagliardi and his wife Heather of Seekonk, MA and two grandchildren Benjamin B. Gagliardi of Boston, MA and Bryn A. Gagliardi of Seekonk, MA. She was the sister of the late Barbara Newman, John, William and Raymond Sutton.

Her funeral will be held on Monday December 9, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
