Charron, Karen A., (Dutra), 66, of Hazard Avenue, East Providence, died peacefully on December 14, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Landry) Dutra, she lived in East Providence for 42 years.

Mrs. Charron was a Customer Service Clerk at Walmart, Seekonk, MA for the past 10 years.

Karen enjoyed gardening, crafting and traveling.

She is survived by a daughter, Lianne Charron of Barrington; a son, Peter J. Charron of Gulfport, MS; a grandson, Tyler J. Vieira of Barrington; three brothers, Michael Dutra of Cranston, John Dutra of Seekonk, MA and twin brother, Kevin Dutra of Rehoboth, MA; two sisters, Kathleen Hughes of Douglas, MA and Joann Wood of Dighton, MA; several nieces and nephews and a long time companion, Raymond Iovino.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Greenlawn Ave, Warren. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
