Katherine M. Brown, formerly of Barrington, died peacefully on January 9, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard G. Brown and devoted mother of Paul J. Brown of Danville, CA and Col. (Ret) Thomas P. Brown of Alexandria, VA and six grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Stephen G. Brown of Odenton, MD, a daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine (Harney) Mulhern and the sister of the late Anne M. Holland and Leo F.X. Mulhern.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in St. Luke’s Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katherine’s honor to Catholic Relief Services, PO BOX 17090, Baltimore, MD, 21203, (crs.org).
