Kathleen E. (Maguire) Gomberg

Kathleen E. (Maguire) Gomberg, 74, formerly of Warwick, died peacefully on December 20, 2024 at the Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston. She was the wife of the late Douglas W. Gomberg.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John P. and Helen M. (McDonough) Maguire, she lived in Warwick for 25 years.
Mrs. Gomberg was an underwriter for Amica Insurance for 35 years before retiring in 2003.
She is survived by a son, Leland Gomberg of Narragansett; a sister, Ann M. Durfee of Fairhaven, MA; three brothers, John P. Maguire Jr. of Rehoboth, MA, Michael J. Maguire of Attleboro, MA and Christopher P. Maguire of Rehoboth, MA and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Committal Service in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel,72 Church Street, Cranston on December 26, 2024 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow.

I am so very sorry about the loss of Kathy. We grew up together whenever your Uncle Frank brought me to your house. Skating was a big thing for us all.
The thought of her having died hurts my heart and brings tears to my eyes. HOW COULD THIS BE TRUE????

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. She and I started our working career within a few months of each other. She had a wonderful laugh and was a fun interesting woman. May she rest in eternal peace with our Lord.
