Meehan, Kathleen, (McSoley), 57, of Riverside Drive, Riverside Terrace, died unexpectedly on Sunday May 22, 2016. She was the lifelong companion of Paul M. Meehan of Riverside.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Frances I. (Deignan) McSoley, she lived in Riverside for 35 years previously residing in Rumford.

Mrs. Meehan was a records clerk for the East Providence Police Department. She also was a clerk at the former East Providence Credit Union.

Kathleen was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Besides her lifelong companion Paul, she is survived by a son, John P. Meehan of Riverside; a granddaughter, Kylie B. Meehan of Riverside; two sisters, Ann M. Wolters of Raleigh, NC and Ellen DeConte of Cranston and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles F. McSoley.

Her funeral will be held on Friday May 27, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery.
