Drape, Kenneth, J., Jr., 65, formerly of Riverside, died on October 10, 2012 in Lady Lake, FL.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of Sam Harris of Riverside and the late Claire (Kane) Harris, he lived in Riverside for 17 years.

Mr. Drape was a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army for 23 years before retiring in 1986.

Kenneth was a past Commander of the Riverside American Legion Post #10. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening and spending time with his loving family.

Besides his father, he is survived by two daughter; Melissa A. Miceli of Riverside and Tammy L. Drape of Providence, two grandchildren; Anthony and Briana Miceli of Riverside, four sisters; Sharon McDaniels, Jeanine Estrella, Lola Ponte and Michelle Bryan and his fianc; Gail (Chetwood) Medeiros of Glocester. He was the brother of the late Claire Devon.

His funeral will be held on Friday October 19, 2012 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a funeral service in the Riverside Congregational Church, Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Thursday 4-8 pm.
