Norberg, Kenneth, R., 76, of Blanding Avenue, died peacefully on February 9, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Carole C. (Etheridge) Norberg.

A lifelong resident of Barrington, he was the son of the late Frederick and Elsa (Larsson) Norberg.

Mr. Norberg was a maintenance supervisor for Eastern Color & Chemical Co. before retiring in 2004.

Kenneth was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Besides his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his children, Karen E. Orefice and her husband Michael of Barrington, Kim Greene of Florida, Kenneth R. Norberg II and his wife Lori of Taunton, MA, Edward J. Norberg of Attleboro, MA and Carole M. Norberg of Barrington; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was the grandfather of the late Andrew Greene and father-in-law of the late William Greene.

His funeral service will be private. Burial will be held in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Kenneth’s memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904 would be deeply appreciated.
