Szala, Kevin, E., 72, of Jefferson Avenue, Riverside, died unexpectedly on November 16, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Hilda L. (Moss) Szala.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Victor and Harriett (Wegiel) Szala, he lived in Riverside for 40 years.

Mr. Szala was a generator technician for Superior Power Equipment, Attleboro, MA, for 12 years before retiring in 2011.

Kevin enjoyed photography, woodworking, mechanics and working at his job.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; Joseph K. Szala and his wife Margaret of Pawtucket, three daughters; Sherry A. Szala of East Providence, Joyce K. Peck of Bristol and Angela D. Stanley of Florida, a brother; Victor Szala of Seekonk, MA and nine grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday November 23, 2013 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 3 pm. Calling hours are Saturday 2-3 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
