Auclair, Leona T., (Smith), 85, of Lincoln Street, Seekonk, MA, died peacefully on February 11, 2022 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfrid N. Auclair.

Born in Chelsea, MA, a daughter of the late Leo and Loretta (Quentin) Smith, she lived in Seekonk, MA for many years previously residing in Riverside.

Mrs. Auclair enjoyed traveling to Florida and spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Wilfred N. Auclair of Belchertown, MA, Mark A. Auclair of Brunswick, ME and Joseph L. Auclair of North Palm Beach, FL; two daughters, Sandra L. Gifford of Seekonk, MA and Julie A. Cook of East Providence; two sisters, Victoria Szurgot of Georgia and Barbara Starr of Deerfield Beach, FL; eight grandchildren, April L. Devries, Jay Gifford, Ian Gifford, Jennifer Auclair, Andrew Auclair, Joseph Auclair, Danny Cook and Robby Cook and two great grandchildren, Willem Devries and Lucy Gifford. She was the mother of the late James A. Auclair and the sister of the late Leo Smith.

A private Committal Service will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel. Burial will follow. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
