Charron, Lorenzo, E., 96, of Spruce Street, died peacefully on July 1, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Gertrude M. (Dionne) Charron.

Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Norbert and Alexina (Comeau) Charron, he was a lifelong resident of Barrington.

Mr. Charron was a meat cutter for the Swift Co. for 39 years.

Lorenzo was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of the Barrington Senior Center. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing cards and baseball with his family.

Mr. Charron was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Shirley M. Silvia of Barrington; a son, Richard A. Charron of Seekonk, MA; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Jean Peter Charron and brother of the late Agnes Brail, Theodore and Joseph Charron.

His funeral will be held on Friday July 8, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington.
