Mullaney, Lorraine, L., 84, of Willett Avenue, East Providence, RI formerly of Middle Street, Fall River, died peacefully on February 3, 2013 at the home of her daughter Karen Roche. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Mullaney.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Romeo and Lillian (Gaudreau) Lachapelle, she lived in Fall River for 40 years and East Providence, RI for 9 years.

Mrs. Mullaney was a seamstress for several sewing shops for most of her life.

Lorraine was a communicant of St. Luke Church. She enjoyed cooking, walking, exercising and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by two daughters; Karen Roche and her husband James of Barrington, RI and Lori Grygalonis and her husband John of Williamsburg, VA, four brothers; Gerald, Philip, Roger and Raymond Lachapelle, four sisters; Lillian Chapman, Rose Medeiros, Helen Urban and Yvonne Correia, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Julie Janson, Romeo, Robert, Leo and Henry Lachapelle.

A private service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, East Providence, RI. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
