Calia, Louise, E., 44, of Riverside , RI, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 29, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Thelma (Patterson) Creelman of Riverside and the late William R. Creelman. She was the devoted companion and best friend of Jack Bryan of Riverside. She lived in Riverside for more than 20 years, previously residing in Rumford.

Louise was a nurse manager for the past six years at Critical Care Systems in East Providence and worked at various hospitals and health care facilities. She was a graduate of the St. Raphael Academy, Class of 1985, and Rhode Island College, Class of 1991, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Louise was a loving and devoted companion, mother, daughter, sister, friend and co-worker. Always the consummate professional, she brought compassion and care to all of her patients throughout the years. Louise will be greatly missed for her spit-fire personality and caring ways. She made so many lives better.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeannine Calia, and a son, Sean Calia, both of Riverside; two sisters, Lea Blifford of Cranston and Cathleen Creelman of Providence; a brother, Jason Creelman of Rumford.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 4 at the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, at 1 PM. Calling hours will be Friday, February 3 from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ronald McDonald House of Providence, 45 Gay Street, Providence, RI, 02906, would be greatly appreciated.
