Lydia E. Brownhill

Brownhill, Lydia, E., 92, of East Bay Manor, Wampanoag Trial, died peacefully on April 6, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence.
Born in Meriden, CT, a daughter of the late William and Elfrida (Doerschlag) Brownhill, she lived in East Providence for 40 years.
Miss Brownhill was a Medical Technologist and coordinator of the Medical Technology Unit at Rhode Island Hospital for 20 years before retiring in 1985. She also was a research assistant at the Dartmouth University Hospital in Hanover, NH.
Lydia was a member of the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Providence, where she served on the Board of Deacons and was a member of the choir. She also was a member of the Hamilton House in Providence.
She is survived by a cousin, Mrs. Herbert Skelly of Eastham, MA.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1 p.m. Burial will be held in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Meriden, CT.
