Lydia Lee Roccabello

Roccabello, Lydia, Lee, 88, died peacefully on January 4, 2015 at Chestnut Terrace, Wampanoag Trial, East Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Louis Roccabello Sr.
Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Emil and Sadie (Raposa) Cardoza, she lived in Riverside for 50 years previously residing in Barrington for 14 years.
Mrs. Roccabello was a Policewoman for the Barrington Police Department for 14 years before retiring in 1974.
Lydia was a communicant of St. Brendan Church.
She is survived by two sons, Riccardo Roccabello and his wife Janet of Riverside and Louis Roccabello and his wife Lisa of Riverside; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Jay Cardoza.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday January 8, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Barrington. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
