Baldwin, Madeline, J., 92, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2015 at Linn Health Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late George L. Baldwin.

Madeline Jean Baldwin was born in Haslingden, England. She met her beloved husband George during World War II and they were married for 64 years before he passed in 2009.

Madeline and George lived for 62 years in Riverside. Known to many of her friends at Jean, she worked at Cherry & Webb for 25 years before retiring. Jean and George enjoyed traveling and cherished spending time with their family.

During her last few years Jean also known as Maddie made her home at Linn Health Care Center where she made many friends that welcomed her as family.

Madeline is survived by her son, George D. Baldwin and his wife Nancy of Torrance, CA and her daughter, Judith Landolfi and her husband Fred of Johnston; her grandchildren, Andrew Baldwin and his wife Giao, Scott Baldwin of CA, Amanda and Kelli Landolfi of Johnston and a great granddaughter, Lily of CA. She was the sister of the late May Barnes.

A private burial will be held on Saturday February 14, 2015 at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Madeline’s memory to Linn Health Care Center, 30 Alexander Avenue, East Providence, RI, 02914 would be deeply appreciated.
