Manuel A. “Buddy” Igo, 63, Riverside, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 35 years to Jill A. (Bochichio) Igo.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph V. Igo Jr. and Barbara M. (Viverios) Igo, Manuel was a lifelong resident of East Providence, where he built lasting friendships and cherished memories with his family and community.
For 20 years, Mr. Igo worked as a plating supervisor for the International Insignia Corporation in Providence, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, dedication, and good nature.
Buddy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought endless joy to his days. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, shooting pool at Snookers Billiards in Providence, and on Friday nights with his cousins.
Besides his devoted wife, he is survived by his son, Jason Igo and his fiancée Taina Camara of Warwick; his daughter, Michelle Almeida and her husband Richard of Seekonk, MA; his brother, Joseph Igo of Riverside; his ten cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also the loving father of the late Michael E. Kollett Jr.
Buddy will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, smile and laugh and the love he gave so freely to those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday morning, November 9, 2025, in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
