McGarry, Margaret, E., 93, of Bay Spring Avenue, died peacefully on October 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Lawrence P. McGarry, former Democratic State Chairman and Providence Democratic City Chairman.

Born in Attleboro, MA, a daughter of the late Terrence and Agnes B. (Darcy) McNulty, she lived in Barrington for eight years previously residing in Providence.

She is survived by a daughter; Marjorie M. Bilodeau and her husband Raymond of Barrington, two granddaughters; Laura and Julie Bilodeau, both of Providence, the extended Bilodeau family; Michele, Melissa, Alice, Pamela and Raymond, a niece; Kathleen Bruen of Narragansett and a nephew; Terrence McNulty of FL. She was the sister of the late Mary A. and Joseph W. McNulty and aunt of the late Dorothea Blessington.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2011 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-7 pm.
