Williams, Margaret, E., ‘Ellen,’ 84, of Nayatt Road, died peacefully on May 7, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center, Providence. She was the former wife of the late Frederick Peck Williams of Belton Court, Barrington.

Born in Quincy, MA, a daughter of the late Earl and Margret (MacDougall) Gillis, she lived in Barrington for the past 5 years.

Mrs. Williams was a free lance art critic in New York for several years.

Ellen supported many charities including Doctors Without Borders.

She is survived by her daughter; Diane Williams Rafferty and her son-in-law; Terrence J. Rafferty of Barrington.

A Memorial Service will be held in late May in St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Croton-On-Hudson, NY. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Episcopal Church Cemetery.
