Glover, Margaret, M., (Connors), 95, of ‘The Meadows’, Wampanoag Trail, died peacefully on February 14, 2015. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Glover.

Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late John J. and Anna (Stapleton) Connors, she lived in Barrington 40 years.

Mrs. Glover was a secretary and bookkeeper for 57 years before retiring in 1994.

Margaret was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School Class of 1935, Trinity College, Burlington, VT, Class of 1937 and the Wilson School, Boston, MA, Class of 1938.

Mrs. Glover was a communicant of St. Luke Church. She was a member of the Barrington Woman’s Club, the Bristol Democratic Committee and served on the Town of Bristol School Committee, including Chairwoman for two years. She was a R.I. Delegate to the 1960 National Democratic Convention. She was a volunteer a Blithewold Mansion, Linden Place and the Bristol Fourth of July Committee.

She is survived by cousins in Rhode Island, New York and Ireland.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday February 19, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol.
