Woodhouse, Margaret, M., ‘Peggy’, (Texceira), 88, of New Hampshire Avenue, ‘Roberta Park’, died peacefully on August 23, 2013 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren. She was the wife of the late John Raymond Woodhouse.

Born in Dighton, MA, a daughter of the late Amos and Mary J. (Oliver) Texceira, she lived in Barrington for the 43 years.

Mrs. Woodhouse was an administrative assistant for the Raytheon Co., Portsmouth for 15 years. She previously worked at the Fall River Herald News for 10 years. An artist, Margaret enjoyed painting, gardening and cooking.

She is survived by a brother; Alfred Texceira of Little Compton, two sisters; Mary Silvia and Clara Worsley, both of Somerset, MA, two step-children; John T. Woodhouse of Mt. Olive, NC and Tracy Woodhouse-Boland of Dalton, PA and a step-granddaughter; Kimberly Boland.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday August 28, 2013 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:45 am with a funeral service in St. John’s Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington at 11 am. Burial will follow in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset, MA. Calling hours are Tuesday 3-5 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
