Owens, Margaret V., 90, of Cedarwood Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on Monday September 5, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John Owens.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Locklin) Rodier, she lived in Riverside for 50 years and wintered in Estero, FL.

Mrs. Owens was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Waterview Villa Nursing Home for many years.

Margaret was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School Class of 1950. She was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and volunteered at the Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Rhode Island Sound and the Red Hat Society.

Besides her husband of 54 years, she is survived by her children, Robert W. Boisclair and his wife Mari-Ellen of Johnston, Cathy A. Acosta of Central Falls, Lynda Nelson and her husband David of Riverside, John F. Owens and his fiance Kate Browne of North Kingstown and Stephen M. Owens and his wife Emilia of Riverside and eight grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Leonard J. Boisclair and sister of the late Doris Narkiewicz and Mildred Furley.

Her funeral will be held on Friday September 9, 2022 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 4-6 p.m.
