Alden, Marjorie D., 64, of Elder Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully at home on February 8, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Providence, a daughter of Marjorie (Smith) Grant of Riverside and the late Andrew Grant, she was a life-long resident of Riverside.

Mrs. Alden was a medical research assistant for the past 20 years.

A sports enthusiast, Marjorie was a devoted Boston Red Sox and Oakland Raiders fan. She loved to craft and enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends. She was a devoted grandmother and also enjoyed attending all of their activities.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer L. Germano, John R. Alden Jr., Melissa A. Nunez and James M. Alden all of Riverside; four grandchildren, Tyler, Kevin, Trevor and Sydney; a brother, Kevin Grant of Warren; four sisters, Kathleen Berg of Riverside, Theresa Murphy of Riverside, Kerri-Anne Whalen of Riverside and Sharon Dillon of Riverside and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday February 13, 2020 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Rumford Cemetery, Rumford.

Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
