Lord, Marshall, R., 96, of Harris Street, Riverside, died peacefully on October 1, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Vera M. (Smith) Lord.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Charles M. and Gertrude (Baddeley) Lord, he lived in Riverside for 67 years.

Mr. Lord was a stock manager for IBM for 35 years. He then went on to work for Flint Ink for 10 years before retiring in 1985.

Marshall enjoyed bike riding, gardening, helping out his neighbors and was the caretaker to his loving family.

Mr. Lord was a United States Army Air Force Veteran serving during World War II where he was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and three Oak Leaf Clusters.

He is survived by three daughters, Lorraine M. Kala and her husband Richard of Riverside, Susan L. Nichols and her husband Eugene of Wakefield and Marcia J. Robitaille and her husband Kenneth of Tiverton; a son, Stephen C. Lord and his wife Kathleen of Riverside; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Norma M. Lord.

His funeral service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday October 7, 2014 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1 p.m.
