Martin, Reynolds J., 87, of Miles Avenue, died peacefully on February 19, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Caroline J. (Dibble) Martin.

A lifelong resident of East Providence, he was the son of the late Jesse Reynolds Martin and Sylvia A. (Henwood) Martin.

Mr. Martin was a chemical formulator for Olin Chemicals for 33 years before retiring in 1993.

Reynolds was a member of the Sons of Italy Bowling League and enjoyed camping. He was a former member of the R.I. Teamsters.

Mr. Martin was a United States Navy Veteran.

Besides his wife of 62 years, he is survived by two daughters, Linda L. Chappell of Warwick and Jean E. Duranleau of Warwick; a son, Richard R. Martin of East Providence and five grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Raymond Martin, Vivian Ciallella, Effie McConnell, Leona Campagnone, Edith Bennett and Carol Ferreira.

His funeral will be held on Monday February 25, 2019 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a funeral service in Swan Point Cemetery Historic Chapel, Blackstone Blvd., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Swan Point Cemetery.

Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Reynolds memory to a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.
