Martina C. Little

Little, Martina, C., 106, formerly of Sowams Road, East Bay Manor, Riverside and Franklin Court, Bristol, died peacefully on July 10, 2015. She was the wife of the late Patrick T. Little.
Born in Swansea, MA, a daughter of the late Euclide and Elizabeth (Martin) Courchaine, she lived in Barrington for 72 years.
Mrs. Little was a weaver for the Berkshire Hathaway Mill in Warren for 45 years before retiring in 1965.
Martina was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of its Young at Heart Club. She was a member of the Royal Travelers and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and the piano at Franklin Court.
She is survived by a son, Thomas R. Little and his wife Marcella of Tiverton, four grandchildren, Patrick Little of Bristol, Bridget Torrey of Portsmouth, Michelle Kirby of Stoneham, MA and Nathaniel Simkins of Holliston, MA; nine great grandchildren, Connor, Casey and Cameron Little, Teghan and Piper Torrey, Leo and Eric Simkins and Gwyneth and Matthew Kirby and one great great granddaughter, Brittney Boudreau. She was the mother of the late Martina Zukowski and sister of the late Irene Remy, Cardina Namaka, Ida Sippen, Blanche Minville, Celia, Edmond, Armand and Leo Courchaine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
