Madden, Mary A., (McShane), 72, of Franklin Street, Riverside, died peacefully on Sunday January 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James J. Madden.
Born in County Armagh, Ireland, a daughter of the late Charles and Nancy (Goodby) McShane, she lived in Riverside for 65 years.
Mrs. Madden was a bookkeeper for the Michael D. Corrado Accounting Office for 30 years before retiring in 2011.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa A. Medeiros of Riverside; a son, James J. Madden of Riverside; two granddaughters, Taylor Medeiros and Bailey Medeiros; five brothers, Patrick McShane of Riverside, Anthony McShane of Bristol, Joseph McShane of Riverside, Martin McShane of East Providence and Edward McShane of Riverside; a sister, Lori Prew of Riverside; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul McShane, Kevin McShane, Michael McShane and Shaun McShane.
A private funeral service and burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. A Celebration of her Life will be held when those who loved her can gather safely.
