Pontrelli, Mary, C.A., (Campanelli), 96, of Legion Way, Riverside, died peacefully on December 4, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel ‘Danny’ Pontrelli.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Mariantonia (Capuano) Campanelli, she lived in Riverside for 63 years.

Mrs. Pontrelli was a secretary for the Organic Chemical Co. for 15 years before retiring in 1990.

Mary was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the Forever Young Club and the Rosary and Altar Society. She was a member of the Riverside Homemakers, The Rhode Island Mothers of Twins Club and the 1918 Club. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed bowling, sewing, knitting, cooking and baking.

She is survived by three daughters, Maryann McShane of Riverside, Donna M. Larrabee of Glocester and Diana M. Pontrelli of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Theresa Murphy of West Warwick and Regina Flynn of Providence; four grandchildren, Daniel McShane and Lisa McShane Horn and Kaitlyn and Christopher Larrabee and two great grandsons, Joseph and Matthew Horn. She was the sister of the late Salvatore and Matthew Campanelli.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2014 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
