Ward, Mary ‘Maureen’, C., (Dullea), 81, of Riverside and formerly Barrington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of William J. Ward and together they enjoyed 60 years of marriage.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Maurice and Bernice (Donnelly) Dullea and sister of the late Barbara Dullea.

Maureen graduated from Potsdam State College with a teaching degree in 1952. She was a loving wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Maureen was very active in her church and community and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her seven children; Kathleen White of Chapel Hill, NC, Michael Ward of Waterford, CT, Patricia Delaney of Medway, MA, Timothy Ward of Baton Rouge, LA, Megan Ryder of Levant, ME, Brian Ward of Bristol, RI and Carolyn Stewart of Keene, NH. She is also survived by sixteen loving grandchildren whom she cherished very much.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Luke Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
