LeFranc, M., Magdalene, ‘Madge’, (Schifino), 98, a lifelong resident of Riverside, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. She was the wife of the late Maurice N. LeFranc. Her parents were the late Pasquale and Catherine Schifino.

Madge worked as a secretary for the East Providence School Department, Waterman Engineering and as a volunteer preparing taxes for the elderly. She was a long-time communicant of St. Brendan Church. Madge was a devoted, lifelong Boston Red Sox fan.

Most important in her life were her children, daughters, Maureen Dion (Rick) and Marcia Goggin and son Maurice Jr. (Leslie), grandchildren, Chuck, Rebecca, Jesse, Elizabeth, Derek, Beranger, Ghislaine, Genevieve and great-grandchildren Jacqueline, Alessandra, Nicholas and Gabriellia. Madge was predeceased by her siblings Flora, Frank, Len, Pat, Jed and Skip. She is survived by her youngest brother Bill and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Friday June 12, 2015 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
