Cardente, Maryann, (Martin), 83, of South Lake Drive, died peacefully on October 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Ralph Cardente.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Manuel and Antonetta (Larisa) Martin, she lived in Barrington for 67 years.

Mrs. Cardente was a threader for the former R.I. Lace Works for 30 years before retiring in 1991.

Maryann enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports events and enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Cardente and his wife Susan of Barrington and Ralph Cardente of Barrington; a daughter, Joyce Ann Cardente of Barrington; two sisters, Joyce Burns of Narragansett and Virginia Chlebek of Cape Cod, MA; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday October 27, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 9:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
