Dyer, Maureen, E., 79, formerly of Hunt Drive, died peacefully on October 9, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Dyer.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Albert Patrick Carroll and Lillian (Dunbar) Barton, she lived in Barrington for 16 years.
Mrs. Dyer was the secretary to the principle of St. Luke’s School for 10 years before retiring in 1982.
Maureen was a communicant of St. Luke Church.
She is survived by two sons; Robert A. Dyer III of Big Timber, Montana and David E. Dyer of Bristol, two grandchildren; Robert A. Dyer IV and Emily D. Dyer, a step-granddaughter; Kelsi McElroy and a brother; Robert E. Carroll of Westport, MA. She was the mother of the late Thomas E. Dyer.
Her funeral will be held on Friday October 12, 2012 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
