Guliano, Michael, A., 84, formerly of Lottie Drive, Riverside and Sun City West, AZ, died peacefully on July 31, 2011 at the Odyssey Hospice Center, Peoria, AZ. He was the husband of the late Mary H. (Soares) Guliano.

Born in Barrington, a son of the late Cosmo and Angelina (Fidanza) Guliano, he lived in Riverside for 40 years and Arizona for 15 years.

Mr. Guliano was a sales manager for Sears Inc., Providence for 25 years before retiring in 1990.

Michael was a former member of the East Providence Fraternal Order of Police, the East Providence Lion’s Club and a former manager of the East Providence Baseball Little League. He was a member of the Sun City West Italian American Club and former President of the Sun City West Condo Association. He enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Wanumetonomy Country Club, Middletown.

He is survived by two sons; Michael A. Guliano Jr. of Glendale, AZ and David A. Guliano of Riverside, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Phyllis Toledo, Anna Casey, Sarah, Anthony and John Guliano. He was the companion of the late Jeannette Sylvia.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday August 11, 2011 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
