Hambly, Michael G., Sr., 70, of Read Street, Riverside, died unexpectedly on August 24, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Farrish) Hambly.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Sylvester L. and Rose C. (Cole) Hambly, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. Hambly was a mason and owner of Hambly Inc., Riverside for 30 years.

Michael was a communicant of St. Brendan Church. He enjoyed spending time with his loving grandchildren.

Besides his wife of 47 years, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A. King and her husband David of Port Charlotte, FL; a son, Michael G. Hambly Jr. and his wife Kym of Cranston; 3 grandchildren, Noah King, Cole and Luke Hambly; 1 nephew and 3 nieces. He was the brother of the late Rosemary Medeiros.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2016 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
