McShane, Michael J., 57, of Smith Street, Riverside, died peacefully on October 27, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Lovett) McShane.

A lifelong resident of Riverside, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Nancy (Goodby) McShane.

Mr. McShane was a construction laborer for Local #271 for 25 years.

A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted New England sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.

Besides his wife of 26 years, he is survived by four children, Michael McShane, Justin McShane, Shannon McShane and Connor McShane; five brothers, Patrick J. McShane, Anthony J. McShane, Martin McShane, Joseph McShane and Edward ‘Ted’ McShane; two sisters, Mary A. Madden and Lori E. Prew and two grandsons, Brady McShane and Mason Goncalves. He was the brother of the late Paul McShane, Kevin B. McShane and Shaun J. McShane.

A private funeral service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
