It is with profound sadness that the family of Michael (Mike) announces his passing on May 6, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones, after a battle with ALS.
Born in Fall River, MA on April 25th, 1949 he was the son of John R. and Juliette (Levesque ) Rapoza. He was the loving husband of Delta Rapoza(Rodrigues) for 12 years. He is survived by his loving wife, his children; Michael J Raposa II (Jessica Raposa) of Boston, MA, Megan M Raposa (Christopher Kyle) of Portsmouth, RI. His wife’s children and grandchildren. His four siblings; Marie Perez of Fall River, MA, Nancy Gomes Charlestown, RI ,John Rapoza of NJ and Madeline Vivieros of Somerset, MA. He was the Grandfather of one; Camila E Raposa. He graduated Diman vocational school in 1968, was drafted into United States Army serving for 18 months and was in Army Reserve until 1975. He worked in the automotive industry as a ASE certified mechanic for over 40 years. He was a Barrington, RI resident for most of his adult life. He retired in 2007 from Tasca Ford, as a mechanic. He is predeceased in death by his parents; John and Juliette.

His funeral service will be private.
