Nelson, Michele F., 54, of Holland Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully at home on May 26, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Michael Johnson.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francis W. and Marguerite (Tripp) Nelson, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Michele Nelson was an Underwriter Loan Officer for 20 years.

Michele was a graduate of Providence College.

She enjoyed music, gardening and spending time with her loving family.

Besides her husband of twenty eight years, she is survived by a son, Mark Young of Rehoboth, MA; four grandchildren and a sister, Nancy M. Parente of Danielson, CT. She was the sister of the late William A. Nelson.

Her Funeral will be held on Saturday June 10, 2023 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Calling Hours are Friday 5-8 p.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Michele’s memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 would be deeply appreciated.

While our adult lives took us in different directions, we caught up over the years now & then, the last 10 years we spoke often thru messaging & cards. The wonderful memories of our youth & family times together will forever live in my heart. I Love you my friend and will see you on the other side. xoxo
